Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival

Posted: January 02, 2019 by Stephanie Thibodeau

Twenty-two years and still going strong! Beat the winter blues by attending the Lambertville * New Hope Winter Festival. Hosted by the Twin Rivertown Projects, Inc., a 501c3 organization, the winter festival is a great thing to look forward to no matter what the weather.

In 1995, local business owner Louise Decker got the idea to hold a Winter Carnival like the ones held in the ski areas of New England. With the help of interested colleagues and friends Louise pulled it all together and made the first Lambertville Winter Carnival a reality.

The Festival is now spread out over nine days with a host of family-friendly activities and consistently brings thousands of visitors to the area.

Twin Rivertown Projects Inc. is a non-profit staffed with local volunteers and, according to their website, the organization has three goals for the festival

  • to provide a healthy, invigorating cold-weather experience in
    our river town communities
  • to demonstrate that our multi-faceted communities are alive
and well in the winter months with exciting and diverse activities
  • raise funds and awareness for local non-profit organizations

There are ticketed events and non-ticketed events including:
